Il produit quasiment tous les grands vins blancs de Bourgogne.
Il est aussi un excellent cépage améliorateur dans de nombreux autres vignobles français et étrangers. 
Le vin Chardonnay, lorsqu'il est réussi et en quantité limitée est puissant, riche et sec.

DESCRIPTION :
Belle robe jaune, claire et limpide, très beau nez de pêches et d'agrumes. Longue finale, excellent.
